Health Care Reform At Risk With MA Election Tomorrow

Massachusetts special election for former Senator Ted Kennedy's seat is tomorrow.  Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown are running a tight race for the vacant seat.  If Coakley wins, then the Democrats will be able to hold the 60 seat majority in the Senate and pass the revised health care bill uncontested.  However, if Brown wins, then he will be the 41st vote against the bill and force Democrats to either A. speed up the vote on reform before Brown takes the seat B. delay the swearing in process or C. create a compromised bill that would include Republican concessions.  Democrats know that health reform will be radically changed if Brown wins and they are unable to do option A or B.
